Chap sticks, lip balms, etc. are a great way to moisturize your lips on-the-go but your lips also need a moisture boost once in a while to maintain its shine and softness. there are lip patches available commercially that are actually lip masks. Well, you can make your own lip patches too:

Castor oil- Has great skin moisturizing and softening properties. Helps heal dry patches effectively.
lmond oil- Heals dry patches and also helps to lighten lip pigmentation.
RECIPE FOR DIY LIP SOFTENING PATCHES:
Things you need-
- 1 tablespoon castor oil
- 1 tablespoon almond oil
- 1 teaspoon beetroot powder
Directions-
- In a bowl, combine castor oil and almond oil.
- Add in beetroot powder and mix well.
- Grab a cotton pad or thick paper towel and cut into oval or lip shape or whatever you prefer but just make sure it covers your lips.
- Soak the paper towel r cotton pad with the oil mixture and place it over your lips. Let it work for about 15 minutes before removing the oil patch.
- Massage and wipe off any excess.
- Use this twice a week.
